1) Write a 100 word statement of intent explaining what you are going to make for your preliminary exercise.   -For the preliminary exercise I will create a video that is around 30 seconds long advertising the health drink Naked. This avert will follow the narrative of a teenage girl (hero) who spends too much time inside on screens but then has the Naked drink and begins to go outside. Statement of intent

  Statement of Intent I will be advertising  the Naked healthy drink with the slogan of "A sip of nature". The campaign for both adverts includes a call to action of purchasing the naked drink; however, the campaign will also have the idea of reconnecting with nature. The representation in my advert is a white female working class student; 15 years old teenager. My adverts will represent a successful lifestyle as the Naked smoothie promotes healthy nutrition and it promotes exploring nature which is always needed for excellent wellbeing. These campaigns will subvert the stereotype of women being domestic and very feminine as the main character will be working hard for school  and pursuing a masculine hobby (gaming). They will also challenge the stereotype that people in the working classes cannot be successful however there is more to being successful than money. WWW: There is planning in terms of your coursework statement of intent and products, but I cannot see preliminary planning on your blog – please ensure that you complete all planning before proceeding to production work. Your production and narrative are clear and demonstrates good understanding of editing process. It is likely to appeal to the target audience. EBI: The main issue is the length of your preliminary exercise; it is way below the expected length, and I think you would agree it feels more like a Instagram Reel or YouTube Short rather than a commercial advert on TV or streaming channel. You also need to ensure that you include a range of sound (diegetic and non-diegetic), and a slogan.
