Mise-en-scene: Analysis

Iron Man 3

I think this trailer will have the effect on the audience of  emphasising the action and sci-fi genre. The costumes makes me think this because the different iron man suits accentuate the technology that is in this universe which illustrates that it is sci-fi genre. Also there is a scene where Tony is lying on the floor with blood and dirt on his face. This scene uses actor movement and makeup to show the audience that he is defeated which conveys there was a battle/fight highlighting the action genre.

Red Dead Redemption

I think this trailer to focus on the fact that this takes place in a western/cowboy setting with outlaws and thugs . The costume uses cowboy hats and old fashioned , worn down outfits to illustrate that the time period was long ago where cowboys roamed western USA. The campfire prop is used to show the lack of technology and it emits high key lighting to let the audience see the actors performance .

Stranger Things

I think this text will have the effect on the audience of highlighting how eleven and this chase scene is out of place. The setting is an ordinary suburban town which is juxtaposed by this chase scene disrupting the peaceful atmosphere . There is a scene where the actors ride their bikes through a park which literally shows the chase disturbing the calm town which further emphasises that they are misplaced .

Nike Advert

I think the message of the advert is to show the audience that nike promote productivity even if your life his hard and busy. The advert uses a very fast pace to draw the audiences attention to it and to portray how quick and busy peoples lives are . They use the setting of London to further illustrate this fast pace and busy aspect of the advert which shows that although they have difficult lives they still use nike. There are many scenes that use sporty / athletic props such as footballs, boxing gloves, bicycles and more which highlight the fact that nike is for people who work hard such as athletes.
