Three Camera Shots:

- The long shot at 3.44 emphasises the sci fi genre since the shot is of the earth with a signal going into space and it depicts the conflict as a huge issue . This is done to portray to the audience that the signal is very important and an other worldly problem which raises the stakes. 

- The medium close up used at 2.22 is used to show the women's interaction with the setting. The screens in the background presents to the audience that her character is working hard and is passionate and invested in her work. This characteristic is also presented as she is willing to sacrifice herself for the world.

-Another medium close up shot is used at 3.53 to show both the actors reactions at the same time. This is used to tell the audience the importance of the signal as both the actors are shocked and stressed about the situation.

Camera angles: 

-At 3.34 a high angle shot is used to show the audience how huge the machine is ,since it almost fills the whole screen even in a high angle shot. This also demonstrates the sci fi genre as it shows the complex technology that is needed to send the signal to the doctor.

Mise-en-scene:

-At 0.55 the setting is highlighted by the long shot to juxtapose her normal , cozy and comfortable room with the technological sci fi screens in the character is using . This is done to illustrate that she has a lot of secrets and her work isn't known by many as the only sci fi element of the setting is at her computer and the rest is mundane.

Reception Theory

1)-The preferred reading is the meaning the producers are trying to communicate to the audience. 2)-The  oppositional reading  is when the audience's opinion goes against the meaning the producers are trying to communicate. 3)-The Harry Brown trailer wants the audience's preferred reading to be that the teenagers are violent and dangerous as they are gang affiliated, criminals and some of them murder. 4)-The oppositional reading of the Harry Brown trailer is that Harry is just as much as a criminal as the teenagers are .This could be the interpretation as in the trailer he is seen with a gun and he wants to take revenge. 150 word McDonalds avert analysis 5)- This McDonalds advert's preferred reading is that the burger is worth the money and fresh. The producers want the audience to  think this as they repeat the word "fresh" and "big"."Big"emphasises that the amount is large giving the impression that the burger is big especially for the price...

1) There were 22 marvel movies when the  article was published. 2) According to this article marvel was making more than £13.7bn at the time the article was posted. 3)  In 2007, Marvel was recovering from bankruptcy and had sold off the film rights to some of the company's most popular characters like the X-Men and Spider-Man.However, they still owned the rights to the core avengers Hulk ,Thor ,Iron man , Black widow, Captain America and Hawkeye so the introduced these characters in other movies and then The Avengers. 4)  Sony had bought Spiderman for $7 million.
